Foundation Cristosal is a faith-based human rights and community development organization with Anglican roots that works to strengthen the ability of the poor to act for justice and development as equal citizens in a democratic society.

 

 

 

As we are called to be the passionate presence of Christ in all we do, the purpose of the Mission of Miracles is to be a voluntary organization in relationship with the people of our Epsicopal Companion Diocese of El Salvador, with regard to health promotion, education and treatment of disease by providing medical, dental, vision, mental health, and veterinary services to support the ongoing mission of the diocese El Salvador health team.  

 

 

 

 

Habitat for Humanity in El SalvadorHabitat for Humanity El Salvador built its first 29 houses in 1992, in the department of Santa Ana. Since then, much program renovation and organizational growth have taken place. As a result, the national organization has been able to provide increasingly more effective responses to the frequent loss of homes to natural disasters, such as Hurricane Mitch in 1998 and the earthquakes in 2001.The national organization’s work is performed through a central national office and six branches in Santa Ana, Sonsonate, San Salvador, San Vicente, Usulután and La Paz.
